Aye Zindagi is a new drama serial that has been launched by HUM TV. The serial will be aired every Thursday at 8PM.
The story has been written by Saira Latif and directed by Adnan Wai Qureshi.

The story shows the life experiences of various characters entangled in relationships that they are trying to save. It highlights the misinterpreted emotions and lack of understanding of the position of the others that further causes chaos in the people’s lives. How a daughter survives in a relationship just because she was pushed into it to fulfill her family’s desires and how a mother’s expectations change, when they see their sons now being shared by another woman
Basically Taimoor (Affan Waheed) is Saba’s adopted son in a way that Taimoor is the son of Saba’s brother. But she loves him like her own child even more than that. She has never accepted that he is adopted rather she calls him as her own son and the brother of her own daughters Sumra and Nimra. But in reality it is not the truth. Nevertheless Taimoor is still Sumra’s and Nimra’s cousin until and unless they accept him as their brother. Well this is a very sensitive issue on which the entire episode was based upon.
Now Nimra has a friend Alina played by Sundus Tariq who likes Taimoor very much and wants to marry him while Nimra is also okay with it. Taimoor on the contrary doesn’t even look at this girl and seems to be not interested. However he is also aware of the fact that the family members in the house except for the mother do not consider him as one of them. Yet he is living with them and is compromising just for the love of his so-called mother since she loves him so much that she cannot take anything go wrong about him. Call it motherly love or whatever but in the true sense the feeling of holding someone dear to you is just amazing sometimes. Even if it is your children.
Anyways the other family in the serial who are supposed to be the in-laws of the eldest daughter Sumra is ruled by the lady of the house Sultana Begum played by the seasoned actress Shamim Hilali. There is a typical kind of an ‘Aurat Raaj’ in the family where the husband and the father of the children is considered as no one to even give his opinion in anything. The character of Sultana Begum’s husband is played by Mazhar Ali who is also a very seasoned actor.
Now things are going to take a different angle in the story after the marriage of Sumra and Ashar which will bring in interaction the two very different families. True colors of Sultana Begum will be seen very soon in the upcoming episodes when we see her dealing with her new daughter-in-law.
